All we really do is bicker about solutions. We're winning right now.

So if I maintained my thesis that Hathaway deserves Brouwer's minutes, is it different now? My whole point is he's the better option. On the powerplay or on the 4th line. What's the difference as long as the Head Coach validates the lesser option? Please show your reasoning, people.

Last argument TandA provided was based on long term history. Which ignores anything done while part of the Flames organization.

We're all glad Jagr is here and can all agree Versteeg is a better option too. Not what the debate is about. Why should Brouwer be on 4th line RW right now?

My theory is that it's still early...

Brouwer had a bad year last year, but it could have been for a few different reasons (injuries, new team, etc.). So they are giving him a shot to turn it around. He's a vet so maybe it takes him 20 games to get going, this is pretty typical. If we get to game 40 or 50, he hasn't improved, and he is STILL getting the same kind of ice time then I will be royally pissed.

I think we are stuck with Brouwer as is until, he gets better....or near the end of the season till games mean something.

But realistically he is OK on the 4th, if he was making 1-2 mil we would not be female doging as much.
